Marathon - Sport that can change the World!

The marathon is a long-distance running event with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles and 385 yards),usually run as a road race. The event was instituted in commemoration of the fabled run of the Greek soldier Pheidippides, a messenger from the Battle of Marathon to Athens.

History of Marathon : The name Marathon comes from the legend of Pheidippides, a Greek messenger. The legend states that he was sent from the battlefield of Marathon to Athens to announce that the Persians had been defeated in the Battle of Marathon (in which he had just fought),which took place in August or September, 490 BC.It is said that he ran the entire distance without stopping and burst into the assembly, exclaiming (nenikekamen, "we have wοn"), before collapsing and dying.
This is about the history and what exactly is Marathon. This can obviously be found in Internet, but there is always a need for introduction to anything and everything.I want to share my vision as to how 'Marathon' as a sport can change the World.
Folks, the major threat to our environment is Pollution and mainly due to the vehicles which is leading to depletion of ozone Layer. The major threat/disease in Human Beings is Lack of fitness and Obesity.'Marathon' is a wonderful solution to both these problems.
How can Marathon be a Solution ? Just imagine, like how Cricket, football and other sports are famous,if Marathon also becomes a famous sport due to Humongous people getting involved in it and enjoying it,then the rate of diseases will drop down rapidly.Because Marathon involves running and running is THE BEST Sport/exercise to be FIT and Healthy.Marathon as a sport has a lot of benefits,Marathon doesn't have an age limit like other sports,it doesn't need construction of stadiums,it doesn't need huge funds and so on.Won't it be wonderful??? This shows how Marathon can be a solution for the betterment of the Health of Human Beings.
Coming to the MOST Harmful disease to the entire World - 'Pollution.'How can Marathon be a Solution to this?? Simple.Pollution is caused to various reasons but the most   important one is Air pollution, caused due to HUMONGOUS number of vehicles. So,if Marathon becomes a regular, interesting, entertaining, lovely sport for most of the population in this world, the need of Vehicles will go down rapidly and thus reducing pollution and thus leading to a wonderful change in the environment. The exact distance of Marathon is 42.195km.In all the things I have stated above,I mean that all of them should get accustomed to full marathon(42kms) or Half marathon I.e., everyone should be capable of Running 42 kms at one stretch or atleast half of it.Then, the vehicles usage will drop down as people will start running to reach out to the destinations that are in the range of few kilometres, instead of taking their vehicles. And thus leading to a Healthy Mankind and Healthy environment.
If anyone feels that what if everyone gets addicted and starts running, won't it be a lot of people everywhere.I have a solution, when we can have so many vehicles on the road EVERYDAY and even then manage with it,then a lot of people EVERYDAY and EVERYWHERE will be easily manageable. So this is my Vision as to how Marathon as a sport can change the World.
"If we don't have a Vision about something we do,we can't enjoy and GROW by doing that 'something' for a long time."This can refer to anything and everything you do!!!!

Never FEEL TIRED,only GET TIRED!!!

'Work, tired and rest.' These three words are the golden words of Human beings. There are three essential things for every person in this world - Food,Shelter and Clothing.'Work' is the solution to get all the three essentialities.Every individual in this world has to WORK in some or the other way.The amount of WORK determines the way in which they will live their Life.
Well,Work is a fundamental thing in everyone's life and likewise is the feeling called 'Tired.'We all get tired each and every day in our life and that is what makes us have good sleep so that body is given enough rest.'Getting Tired and taking rest is perfect but Feeling Tired and taking rest is unpropitious.'
There is a lot of difference between Getting tired and Feeling Tired.Getting tired is when you have actually given a good amount of work to your body, because of which it requires some rest.Feeling Tired is just a 'feeling' of tiredness when your body is actually not tired but your mind says it is tired. Most of us would have experienced this and some may be experiencing it even now.Whenever your mind says 'tired',ask your body once and confirm it by giving a task to your body.Give rest to your body only if it says,"I am DONE!"
I used to experience 'feeling tired' psychology before and I can now see that I have wasted ample time because of that.So I would like to suggest all those who experience this on a regular basis to get out it and start giving justice to each minute of your life by assigning work to your body when needed and rest to your body when it requires.
"You will understand the true meaning of REST,only when you give rest after having WORKED HARD enough."

Back to the BLOGGING SPREE!!!

I have a dream that there must be a lot of attributes that will define me when I become successful in life.I am sure that one of the attribute will be - Ardent Blogger.I am really very passionate about writing blogs and I have successfully written more than 250 blogposts.I am sure that there is a long way to go!

We can't win always or we can't be perfect in something everytime. There will be times when you will have to lose or miss out something due to some reasons.I am a Ardent blogger but more than that I am a consistent blogger.I write blogposts each and everyday.I had to miss out on writing blogposts everyday due to shortage of time as more responsibilities were on my shoulders.I knew that I was missing writing blogposts due to something which was more important than blogposts but still I had a feeling that I am not able to do my blogposts.
And as we all know that Nothing is permanent, same was the case in me missing out on writing blogposts.I have finally decided to jump into daily blogging again by having made suitable arrangements that will help me accomplish other important works as well.I actually thought of starting it from tomorrow but again my mind reinforced a quote of mine - "Procrastination feels good only for NOW."Then I got up and decided that if at all I am getting back into daily blogging,it will be from today. And here it is,I have successfully entered the blogging spree again and have completed a blogpost.I will also take up a commitment that I will make Blogging as important as daily chores in a few days.

I am on the RIGHT PATH!!!

This is definitely a very COMPETITIVE World. We compete throughout our Lives.Let it be childhood,Adulthood or Old age we are always into some or the other kind of Competition.Sometimes we Win the competition and sometimes we lose the competition as Life is always a blend of Success and Failure. But the major question is,'Are we aware of the objective of the competition?','Do we atleast know the reason for competing?','Do we know what we get out of it?' The Answer is No for MOST of the people in this world as they keep competing just because someone else is doing it or due to coercion. This clearly shows that they don't know the right direction to head towards in their life and it might also be that they have no idea if they are on the RIGHT PATH.Especially, most of the students face this hitch.I am damn sure that it there will be a MASSIVE Transmission even if there is one RIGHT PERSON to make them REALIZE the purpose of life and also to help them figure out the right direction to make their life meaningful. Thus, there is a need for a humongous number of Leaders in this world to transform the world.I feel blessed to have my lovely Family, there ain't a day wherein they have not supported me.To add on to my blessings, there are wonderful creatures in my life called "Mentors."My Mentors are the reason for my Growth as a person. They have made me understand the purpose of Life. They have taught me a lot things and they have also helped me find the right direction in my life.Their constant support has been one of the main reasons for most of my wonderful accomplishments.I feel so PROUD of myself that I know the RIGHT DIRECTION in my life and I also know that I am on the RIGHT PATH.

Think Positive!Do Positive!Be Positive!

"Positive"-This is the most powerful word in this WORLD.Success is positive and Failure is negative,Good health is Positive and Bad health is negative, eating hygienic food is positive and not eating hygienic food is negative and so on.Our life can be classified on various characteristics and one of the MAJOR classification is Positive and Negative.
Positive people are those who Succeed, who take the position of limelight and who makes things happen. The title of my blogpost is very simple:Think positive,Do positive and Be positive. When you think positively, you get more positive thoughts and you start DOING more positive things. When you are doing more positive things, you definitely BECOME more positive.
In order to be successful in life, first learn the art of being positive in any kind of situation.Think positively about yourself and face whatever comes your way.Always remember that every problem has a solution. It depends on you as to how you deal with a particular kind of situation. One who is positive will always deal with any kind of situation in a positive way or atleast in such a way that the outcome is positive.
Why is it important to think positive?
Very Simple. What we think is what we do.The one who keeps thinking of bunking a class will definitely bunk a more number of classes. The one who knows the value of time and understands the importance of attending classes will definitely think of attending class, utilising time properly and so on.Thus,he will end up attending all the classes and also DOES better in Academics than the other person.
Why should we DO POSITIVE things?
We must DO positive things to be positive in life which will eventually make you successful. And also what we DO has a great impact on our surroundings.Consider your friends group. If you attend conferences and start DOING things which makes you GROW in life, don't you think your friends will also start DOING the same.Even if they don't start doing, seeing the changes in you they will atleast FEEL/Think like doing it.Thus,it is important to DO POSITIVE.When you DO something positive, you also the make the WORLD DO positive.
Last but not the least, when you think and do positive things, you will definitely BECOME POSITIVE.Make sure that you will BE POSITIVE throughout!

Give your BEST in each and every ATTEMPT!

"Try,try, try till you succeed."This is a very old proverb which many of us would have heard of.Trying till you succeed is MUST but make sure that your each try is to the best of your ability.
We ATTEMPT a lot of things in our life.We succeed many times and we also fail a lot of times. To be successful in life,we must give our BEST in every attempt we make. Why do we fail in something?Because we don't attempt it with seriousness or it won't be our best attempt.
A simple example to prove that ATTEMPTS decides Success or Failure.A student fails in his exams in one of the subject. He decides to write the exam again and starts preparing for it.And he passes the exam in the second attempt. It means that the first attempt was not sufficient but the second attempt was sufficient. So,it clearly shows that if the student had put his BEST ATTEMPT during the first time he wrote the exam,he would have definitely passed. Thus,ATTEMPTS decides Success or Failure.
The reason for me writing this blogpost is due to an exam I wrote today.I had an aptitude exam today and I was not interested in writing it.So,I dint put the BEST ATTEMPT and just gave a normal attempt. As soon as I came out of the exam hall I realised that I wasted an opportunity as well as time.I had kept aside my time for that aptitude exam and it's MUST for me to give my BEST.As I dint do that,I failed to score well. This made me REALIZE that if I had given my BEST ATTEMPT,I would have scored well as well as done justice to TIME,which once gone cannot come back. Thus,I have decided that I will give my BEST in each and every attempt in everything I do.I am damn sure that I will keep up this commitment of mine.
We will HAVE to go through both Success and Failure in our lives. But give your BEST ATTEMPT always. If you fail even after giving the best attempt,it means the path/method/way/procedure is not correct and hence you must identify the mistake in your way/procedure and rectify it.Then,if you give your BEST ATTEMPT,no one can STOP YOU!!!!!!So WHATEVER IT IS,GIVE YOUR BEST EACH TIME!

Valmiki Jayanti

I would love to write my today's blogpost on the harbinger-poet Valmiki on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti.Read this blogpost and you will learn a lot.
Valmiki is celebrated as the Harbinger-poet in Sanskrit literature. He is the author of epic Ramayana, based on the attribution in the text of epic itself.Valmiki is revered as the 'Adi Kavi',which translates to 'First Poet',for he invented sloka, which set the base and defined the form in Sanskrit poetry.
      The First Sloka:
Valmiki was going to the river Ganges for his daily ablutions.A disciple by the name Bharadvaja was carrying his clothes. On the way, they came across the Tamasa stream.Looking at the stream,Valmiki said to his disciple,"Look, how clear is this water, like the mind of a good man!I will bathe here today."When he was looking for a suitable place to step into the stream,he saw a crane couple mating.Valmiki felt very pleased on seeing the happy birds.Suddenly, hit by an arrow, the male bird died on the spot.Filled by sorrow, its mate screamed in agony and died of shock.Valmiki's heart melted at this pitiful sight. He looked around to find out who shot the bird.He saw a Hunter with a Bow and arrows.Valmiki became very angry. His lips opened and he cried out :
मां निषाद प्रतिष्ठां त्वमगमः शाश्वतीः समाः। यत्क्रौंचमिथुनादेकम् अवधीः काममोहितम्॥'
mā niṣāda pratiṣṭhāṁ tvamagamaḥ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ
yat krauñcamithunādekam avadhīḥ kāmamohitam.
It means:
You will find no rest in the long years of Eternity
For you killed a bird in love and unsuspecting.

Emerging spontaneously from Valmiki's rage and grief, this was the first sloka in Sanskrit literature.Later Valmiki muni composed the entire Ramayana with the blessings of Lord Brahma. Thus this sloka is revered as "First sloka" in Hindu literature.
His first disciples to whom he taught Ramayana were Kusa and Lava, the sons of Sri Rama.

Hope this was very interesting and informative.

Yes!You can DO IT!

Wow!Doesnt the above title seem to be very ENCOURAGING?Won't you feel Wondeful if someone tells you the above title, when you have lost faith?Won't the above title be the BEST ANSWER on Earth by someone when you have a question if you can do something?I am damn sure that the answers to all the above questions is 'YES.'
The reason for failure in life is lack of preparation, laziness, fear, etc. But the reason for continuous failure is due to lack of motivation/appreciation/encouragement.Consider two cases : Firstly,a person fails in an exam and eventually his family, friends, relatives stop talking to him due to his failure.Second case: A person fails in an exam but his parents and friends encourage him saying,'Whatever happens, happens for a reason. You CAN do it next time for sure.'
Now which person out of the two cases will have a higher probability of coming back successfully in the next attempt?I am sure that you will agree that the second person will be successful in his next attempt.Though failure would have hurt him,due to the encouragement of his parents he will feel strengthened.Hence,he will be able to achieve success in the next attempt.Whereas in the first case, the person would be depressed due to his failure and no one talking to him will demotivate him and make him even more depressed. This will affect his mental strength and might again result in a failure.Hence, encouragement is something that plays a major role in life.Just one statement can make MIRACLES Happen : Yes!You can DO IT.
I mainly wanted to stress on the point or convey a simple point that ENCOURAGING is very important and hence develop an habit of encouraging and motivating.Only when you ENCOURAGE someone,Someone will ENCOURAGE You.
The World is not that amazing that you always find someone to pat on your back and say,'You can DO IT.'So always remember that YOU always have YOU with YOU.If no one encourages you or motivates you or instills confidence,YOU must encourage yourself by saying,'Yes!You can DO IT.'
Simple example: I was done for the day and wanted to just enter into the slumber mode but I still had my blogpost to be compiled and posted.I had doubts such as,Can I complete it today? Will I be able to write one complete blogpost now? Then I myself answered,'Yes!You Can DO IT.'And here it is,a complete blogpost just because of a small encouragement by myself.Hence,Do encourage yourself whenever needed.
Yes!You Can DO IT.

The NEWSHOUR DEBATE-ARNAB GOSWAMI

The Newshour Debate is a Live debate anchored by Arnab Goswami, which is aired at 9pm weekdays on Indian News Channel 'Times Now.'Arnab Goswami is an Indian Journalist who is the Editor-in-chief and News Anchor of the Indian News channel 'Times Now.'A lot of information about this will be definitely available on Internet.Hence,I would like to add some of the learnings or lessons that I took out from this show.
I must say that it was a TEREFFIC evening today, mainly after watching 'The Newshour Debate.'There is a famous quote,'Don't Judge a Book by its cover.'I realised or understood the truth of this quote/saying today.I usually had a feeling that 'The Newshour Debate' is a show in which there is only argument and nothing meaningful takes place. But I watched it completely from the beginning till the end and I was taken up by surprise as the Show was completely different from what I had perceived.
A lot of argument and debate does happen in this show but each and every statement is a meaningful one.I will refer The Newshour Debate as TND hereafter.TND is such an amazing show that it helps a person understand many things that he would not have known before. If a person has no idea about a particular topic and that topic is taken up in TND,then I am sure that the person who dint have any idea will get to know a lot of things about it and he will get to know that clearly. For example,I dint know about the 'Illegal Land case of Robert Vadra.'But after watching TND,I learnt a lot of things about it and also got to know who are involved in it.
I would seriously recommend those interested or keen to develop debating skills,to please watch TND anchored by Arnab Goswami. He is just TEREFFIC.After listening to him in the show,I realised that it is very important for a person to be prepared massively about the particular topic before he gets into debating about it.The confidence in Arnab Goswami's voice clearly shows his preparation and efforts to know each and every point about whatever topic he takes up.And MOST appreciable  quality of Arnab Goswami is the way he manages everything inspite of multiple people speaking at the same time.I also learnt how important is it to be patient and also to keep calm and composed when into any kind of debate.
It seriously was a delight watching this show.

You LIVE LIFE only when you can SACRIFICE!

'Kuch pane ke liye Kuch kona padta hai.'This a very famous saying in Hindi which means.'To gain something, you need to lose something.'I am sure that all of you would agree to this quote. In single word,it refers to 'Sacrifice.'
We must sacrifice many things in our life to achieve something or to become someone.A salute to all those freedom fighters who sacrificed their LIVES to get freedom for their Nation.Hats off to those soldiers in the army who sacrifice all kinds of entertainment, keep their lives at risk and protect US by being at the Border. The Soldiers are the REAL HEROES.Just imagine,we feel so bad only if we sacrifice a movie or a mobile phone or some THING.But the Soldiers sacrifice all kinds of entertainment, they sacrifice their time or life with their families. As I have mentioned above, you need to Lose something to Gain something. So,the Soldiers sacrifice or lose the chance to enjoy with their families, friends and other kinds of entertainment. What they Gain is protection and Safeguarding of the entire country.I really feel proud for the Indian Soldiers for their COMMENDABLE work.
I am not strong minded to sacrifice the life with my family and join the Army. But I will assure/challenge/commit that I will Serve the people of my country in all the means that are possible by me.I will sacrifice certain things at certain points of time, through which I can help myself to GROW as well as help others to come up in their lives.I feel happy about myself for the sacrifices I have done in my life which has definitely led to a massive GROWTH in me as well as others.A simple example is this blogpost.I am travelling right now and luckily the bus is a sleeper coach.I can just lie down and sleep or listen to music or chat with friends, which most of the people of my age would have done at such a situation. But I sacrificed those things to compile this blogpost.Through every blogpost of mine I see a GROWTH in me.I had to sacrifice my sleep and music to get this blogpost done. So,always remember that you can GAIN something only if you LOSE something.
The reason for writing this blogpost was because I had to Sacrifice enjoyment with my family and leave to Bangalore for an important Meeting.I sacrificed or lost that enjoyment or amazing time with family but I will be able to attend the meeting tomorrow.Through this meeting,I will help myself GROW in different aspects and also this meeting is one of key things to make an event successful on 23 November. This event will make nearly 500 people to enjoy and experience something really WONDERFUL,which they might have not experienced in their life time. So,my sacrifice will lead to someone's happiness and I am really happy for that.
"NO PAIN,NO GAIN."

Happy Vijaydashmi!

Vijaydashmi also called Dasara or Dusshera is one of the most important festivals celebrated in India.Dusshera is celebrated on the tenth day of Navratri. This day marks the end of Durga Puja so people immerse the idols and go to each others' house and exchange gifts and sweets.Dusshera is celebrated for different reasons in different parts of India. It is celebrated in the north India to mark the victory of Lord Rama over the ten headed demon Ravana.Dusshera is celebrated in South India to mark the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasur.
Vijaydashmi or Dusshera is one of my favourite festivals.I relish this festival for the way it is celebrated and many more things.First of all is the Ayudha puja, which means worship of implements or weapons. In Ayudha puja we perform Puja to the weapons which helps in achieving more in life.It can be books for students,it can be vehicles for some people,it can be computers for some,it can be machines in specific companies or industries wherein Machines are the integral part of that industry.
Then comes Vijaydashmi. It is celebrated to mark the victory of Goddess Chamundi over Demon Mahishasur and also victory of Rama over ten-headed demon Ravana. So,burning of statues of Ravana is also observed in some parts of Indua on this day. Then comes the amazing part of going to each others' house and exchanging sweets and gifts. The same type of celebration happens in my native also but with a slight change. We do go to each others' house but we exchange a kind of leaves which we call bangara and byalli.Bangara means Gold and Byalli means Silver in Kannada.Everyone have bright smile on their face on this day and also after we exchange the leaves, the sweets and other delicious food is served to the visitors. When both the people exchanging the leaves are of same age, there is only exchanging followed by a hug or best wishes. But when there is a age difference, the younger one has to fall to the feet of the elder one and seek blessings from them. This is the most lovely part for me.So,before the relatives, friends, neighbours start coming to the house,we get ready and all the children exchange the leaves with the elders of the family and seek their blessings.Once it is done,we enjoy the visitors arrival. This gives a special kind of happiness to me.I love this festival because this is the only festival, other than Deepavali, wherein the whole family is present for the festival.I just enjoyed and celebrated this day with complete joy and Happiness.
Wish you all a very Happy Vijaydashmi festival.

Happy Ayudha Puja!

'Ayudha Puja' is an integral part of Navratri Festival(festival of triumph),a Hindu festival which is traditionally celebrated in India. It is also called 'Astra Puja' in some parts of India.Ayudha Puje or Astra Puje,in simple terms means,'Worship of implements or weapons.'Ayudha puja falls on the ninth day or Navami of bright half of moon's cycle of 15 days.
This is about what exactly is 'Ayudha Puja.'Now let me describe about the way we celebrated 'Ayudha puja.'And doing it in a blogpost will also help me recollect the memories of Ayudha puja.
'Ayudha puja' mainly refers to worship of weapons. So,first we had to clean our weapons.Weapons might mean different to different people but it basically refers to the things that are helping us achieve something. So the vehicles in our home, lifting machine in our new home which is under construction were the weapons to us.I took up the responsibility of washing all the motorbikes,Infact,I love doing that.By the time I was done with washing the vehicles,my mother was ready with the items to perform the puja.So the vehicles were parked in a line and lemons were placed in front of the front and back wheels of motorbikes. Then, the puja began and we all seeked the blessings of God to achieve more using these weapons.Once the puja was done, the vehicles were turned on and moved front for few meters such that the lemon gets squeezed.
The same process was repeated in our farm as well but the vehicles there were different. After the puja and after the vehicles were moved, delicious sweets were distributed to everyone present there and even the workers Next comes the most wonderful part which I have been seeing from my childhood and I feel very happy each time I see that.It is the distribution of clothes to workers along with a box of sweets.Isnt this AWESOME???I really admire dad for this.Dad could simply give them money on the occasion of festival and tell them to celebrate the festival. But dad and mom make sure that they themselves get cloth material for men and women workers respectively. And then they give it to the workers with their own hands along with a box of sweets. The most amazing part is the whole family gets the cloth material.I just love Ayudha puja and mainly this part of Ayudha puja.
So,this was the way in which we celebrated Ayudha Puja.

Listening to Songs TRIGGERS me to WORK MORE!

'Songs'-The best means to soothe your mind or celebrate an achievement or to trigger yourself when you are feeling low.I am an hardcore lover of MUSIC and also SONGS.
I prefer listening to Songs whenever I am excited or when I am feeling low or at times when I need some soothing to Mind.I really enjoy listening to Songs. And it is also true that listening to songs has helped me feel better in every kind of situation.
The reason for me writing this blogpost is due to the wonderful effects that I experience after listening to songs.Whenever I am really excited or in a mood to enjoy,I love to put on loud music and just be LOST in it.I sometimes listen to songs,as soon as I get up in the morning so that it lets me kick start my day with energy.I do listen to some soothing music and slow songs when I feel low as it helps me get out of the LOW mood.

Time is the HEART of LIFE!

Life is a mixture of various things and the solution for LIVING life is again a mixture or combination of various things. The most fundamental part of Life is Time and everything in this world depends on time.Your date of birth depends on time, your exam depends on time, your work depends on time and so on.I BELIEVE that Time management is the most tedious thing to learn but the most beneficial thing when you DO.
A wonderful quote about time that we are listening from ages : "Time and tide waits for none."Very much true!Time never waits for you whether you are awake, you are sleeping, you are healthy, you are not healthy, you are studying, you are reading and so on.But learning management of time is very important in one's life.
Examples to show the importance of time : You fail in an exam if you fail to manage TIME while writing your exam, you lose in a running race when you consume more TIME than the participant who won the race, you miss a chance to appear for a competitive exam if you cross the TIME of deadline given for applying for that particular exam. There are a lot more examples that you see each day which will help you understand the importance of time.
You will start managing time really well when you know the importance of each second and when you realise or understand the importance of each second, you REALIZE AND UNDERSTAND the importance and purpose of LIFE.
It so happens that we waste a lot of time in our lives. Our life gets a true beginning only when we understand the importance of time.A successful person is one who knows to manage time really well.Time management involves utilising or dividing time for various works or activities in the most EFFICIENT & PRODUCTIVE way possible. We fail a majority of times in our lives due to lack of time management skills.
It is the TIME that determines your past, present and future. So,make sure that you LIVE each minute of your life in the best way possible.Make sure of just one thing: At the end of the day,you must have a feeling that you have LIVED the DAY.
I believe that TIME is the most fundamental element of Life and hence the title of my today's blogpost is,'Time is the HEART of LIFE.'

"A rupee SAVED is a rupee EARNED"

"Money"-The most important thing for human beings these days, more than the Oxygen they need to respire. It is also very true that a person has to have MONEY to support his life.
How to earn money???Definitely, the first answer would be when you start working or when you start selling your products and idea and so on.There is one more simple but powerful method to EARN a lot. This method is called "Saving."I am damn sure that you all will know what is Savings but will make you understand its power by the end of this blogpost.
I always remember this powerful quote-"A rupee SAVED is a rupee EARNED."I had seen this quote when I was doing my mathematics project on 'Banking' in my ninth standard.I UNDERSTOOD the meaning of that quote when I started Saving.I am someone who spends money on things only when there is a need for it.So I have successfully saved a lot of money and that means you have EARNED a lot of money.Isnt it true that when you have saved something, you have earned something?
And when you develop an habit of saving, you not only save money but also start thinking properly when you are spending money on something. And when you consistently save money, you have no idea how much money you will make. This will make you understand the power of saving.
Hats off to the Banks as they help in multiplying our savings over a period of time. There is something called Equity Mutual funds that offers upto 30% interest on the money you save in that account. For example, suppose your bank offers just 12% interest.Even if you can save a thousand rupees every month and put it for mutual funds, you will be able to make three times the money you invested in about 20 years.Isnt that amazing?Just by saving thousand rupees every month for 20 years or investing a total of Rs.240000,you will get around Rs.900000 by the end of 20 years. You just saved money and kept it in a bank and eventually got back more money over a period of time, than what you actually had saved.Hence, saving money is nothing less than earning money.
When you save one rupee, you earn one rupee.Because when you save,it means you have a made a better choice that is making you spend less money than what was actually meant to be spent. So,it is same as earning that amount of money.Hence,"A rupee Saved is a rupee EARNED."

Be Strong to LIVE STRONG!!

Life is a mixture of happiness and Sadness,Simplicity and complexity,Success and Failure.A person must have the STRENGTH to face everything and take everything in a positive way. This is one simple rule to LIVE a Wonderful life.
You need to be very STRONG to LIVE Life.If you want to Lead life like most of them do,then you need to worry about anything."Strong or Strength" includes both your physical strength and Mental strength. It is always important to be Mentally Strong than being physically strong. It is also true that being Mentally strong and physically weak is better than being Physically Strong and Mentally weak.
The only way to LIVE strong is to BE strong. There is a very simple solution to face challenging situations in life.Whenever you are in a tough situation, just remind yourself of a person who is in a more tougher situation than yours.Automatically, you will feel that you are in a situation which is way better than the situation of the person whom you thought of and eventually you will be able to face the situation in a positive way and get through it easily.
This is one solution to faces challenging situations in life but ONLY this solution might not be applicable all the time. So,you must keep strengthening yourself each day.Go through or read some of the books written by inspirational speakers such as Sujit Lalwani,Shiv Khera,Richard Branson,Zig Ziglar and so on.These books will give you deep insights of the challenging situations faced by these TEREFFIC people. And when you read that, your subconscious mind will become strong automatically. And this strength will be seen outside when a challenging situation comes in your life Suddenly. For youth,it is very much essential to be a part of personality development programs to develop leadership qualities and mainly to develop as a PERSON.This will help them in the long run.
I feel proud about myself for having overcome one of the toughest situations in my life.I met with an accident which resulted to humorous fractures in my left hand. The condition being severe,a steel plate was inserted in my hand to support the bones.I was someone who had never experienced even a normal airline fracture, but this was something really BIG for me.The doctors had told me to take bed rest for 6months.I feel so happy that I started walking around and attending college just after a month or so.Hats off to my courage as I started riding bike again just after 3months.I believe that my MENTAL STRENGTH made me overcome this toughest situation in a easy manner.
The reason for me writing this blogpost is because I faced a challenging situation today.I was on my way to Chennapatna(Karnataka,India) and my vehicle broke down suddenly. It was almost 7pm.But the mental strength and a bit of physical strength in me helped me overcome this situation easily.
I would like to conclude by telling just one thing : "Be STRONG to LIVE STRONG."

Always have the THIRST to DO more until you are NO more!

Thirst basically means to have a strong desire for something. The title of my blogpost-'Always have the THIRST to DO more' refers to DOING more Positive, pure and productive things.Folks, never wait for things to HAPPEN,go out and MAKE Things HAPPEN.In order to make things happen, you have to DO more.
All people in this world are not successful because of their THIRST.A person's Thirst for Success will determine his/her willingness and desire to Succeed. There are various steps for Success but the first and foremost step is to have the THIRST to SUCCEED.A simple example to make my words seem more clear: Why will a student in a class secure first rank and another student of the same class secures tenth rank??Very simple! The one who secured first rank had the THIRST to study more, work more and to secure the first rank and the student who secured tenth rank might have also had the thirst to study, work and secure but LESS THIRST than the one who secured first rank.
Always remember that Life is an endless journey. So make sure that you will never keep boasting about something in which you have succeeded, for a long time. You must keep achieving more and more each day, only then you GROW.I feel proud that I make maximum utilisation of each minute and keep doing more and more PRODUCTIVE work.I learnt that only the thirst to keep doing more always will make you reach your goals.
Everyone has the THIRST to do but very few feel THIRSTY always to DO more. And those feel more THIRSTY are the ones who will become more SUCCESSFUL!!!
Hence, the title of today's blogpost-"Always Have the THIRST to DO more until you are NO more."
Thank you for reading.

"Mangalyaan" also called Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM)

Today is an Historic day for India, infact for the entire world.Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM) also called Mangalyaan is a Mars orbit launched into Earth orbit on 5th November 2013 by Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO).It was successfully inserted into the orbit of Mars today, making the first Asian nation to reach the orbit of Mars.
Truly a Brilliant achievement by Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO).It is a NEWS for Indians to feel PROUD about our nation.Even countries like Japan and China have failed at this inter-planetary mission.ISRO has become the fourth Space agency to reach Mars after Soviet Space program,National Aeronautics and Space Administration and European Space Agency.
The unique thing is that India accomplished this interplanetary mission in its very FIRST attempt. It was the First interplanetary mission of India.
Some of the important facts about Mangalyaan or Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM) are:
1. INDIA  becomes the first country in the world to do so in its maiden attempt, leaving behind US, Europe and Russia.
2. INDIA becomes the only Asian country in the world so far to successfully accomplish this mission , not even China.
3. INDIA completes this mission in just 450 crores, @just 11.25 per km, less than fare charged by our auto rikshaws and 1/10th of the cost incurred by NASA for similar Misson 'Maven'.
4. It's less than the cost of many of the Hollywood movies.
5. This mission has been executed without any association with any foreign country,.its completely indigenous.
6. The spacecraft has travelled more than 650 crore kilometres in around 300 days to complete this journey.
7. The Spacecraft was manufactured by ISRO Satellite Centre(ISAC).
8. The Mars Orbiter Mission probe lifted off from the First Launch Pad(FLP) at Satish Dawan Space centre SHAR,Sriharikota,Andhra Pradesh using a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle(PSLV).

TRICK of life is to be QUICK!

First of all I strongly believe that Life is beautiful. You are the creator of your life. Its your decision to MAKE your life or BREAK your life. There are many secrets for Success in life but one of the major secret or trick is,'Be quick.'
Many times we fail in life because we fall short of time.In exams,we tell either there was less time to complete the exam or less time to prepare for the exams. In Sports again lack of time to prepare. For dance competition, reason for failure will be again lack of time for preparation and many more examples can be stated.
Taking lack of time or shortage of time in another way,we can tell that the speed was low.Hence,in order to overcome failures, you need to be very quick in whatever you do.Let it be reading, writing, studying, learning, practising,Excercising, communicating,Listening etc.Life is too short to be slow,be QUICK.
What happens when you are quick? When you are quick in whatever you do,you will obviously cover or complete more number of works in a short time. This will help you increase your confidence. The joy and feeling of having COMPLETED something is unmatchable and completing numerous things in a short period of time gives you a great feeling. This feeling is a feeling of ACHIEVEMENT.You feel as if you have achieved something.Trust me,try this and check it out.Start your day as early as 530 am in the morning, pack your day with PRODUCTIVE work,BE QUICK and finish all the works in the To-do list for the day and after that just experience the FEELING,it will just be AWESOME.When you consistently do this everyday, you become a 'Doer' and you will have confidence to do anything and everything.
I am currently experiencing the above cited example. My day started at 5 in the morning and it's 11pm right now.I had a lot of things scheduled for the day and I succeeded in finishing all of them. The only thing to be done was my blogpost but I was very tired. Then I thought let me be quick and finish it off and I have finally accomplished it.My blogpost is done, just because I was quick in thinking and quick in doing.BE QUICK IN WHATEVER YOU DO IS THE TRICK.
Thank you for reading.

Today's newspaper educates you about past, present and future!

"Newspaper"-One of the best source for information about technology, current affairs, weather, events, movies, institutions,Companies,Organizations,Health, wealth, crime, good and bad and whatnot.Newspaper is something which tells you or educates you about anything and everything.
Newspaper is one such thing which helps you know about your entire country or entire world in a hour or so(time depends on your speed of reading).Isnt it amazing? You sit in one particular place and start reading the newspaper and eventually you get to know about so many things happening in so many parts of the country.
One major benefit of Newspaper is that you will get to know what had happened before, what is happening today and what will happen in the future.I used to think a few years before that Newspapers educate me about only present and not about the past and hence I used to feel that I have missed a lot already.Later,as I grew,I realized and understood that by reading newspaper you know about past, present and future.
With a simple example I will explain how newspapers help us know about past, present and future.I will use the example of 'Cricket News' as I am a ardent cricket fan.
Suppose, there is Cricket Worldcup is starting in 3days.What all will the newspaper feature??It will firstly contain information about who had won the previous the previous Worldcup, how many Worldcup series have been played already, number of Worldcup series won by the different teams and also about some miracles which might have happened. So,you get to know about the past.
Secondly, the newspaper will contain information about what is happening today, how many teams have arrived and their schedule for that particular day. This will help you know about present.
Last but not the least, the newspaper will definitely tell you about when is the first match, which teams will be the best match, how many matches in total are to be played, when will the series end, probable team to play for the first match and venues of different matches. This will help you know about future.
This was a simple example to show that a single newspaper of one particular day helps us know about past, present and future.Hence,I conclude by just advising you to make some time for reading newspaper, everyday.Infact,I will take a commitment that I will definitely make it a habit to read newspaper daily and completely.
 Thank you for reading.

Procrastination feels good only for NOW!

One major thing or attribute in people that leads to failure is 'Procrastination.'Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing something.I am very sure that all of us would have experienced the negative effects of procrastination.
Procrastination feels good only for NOW!Why do we procrastinate something???Definitely because we are not interested in doing that particular thing at that point of time and may or may not be interested in doing something else. For example,Imagine you have your exams next week and obviously you got to prepare for it.You will start today but end it in few minutes due to lack of interest and you will plan to do it the next day.The most common thing that comes to ming is,'I have 6 more days and I can study or prepare well from tomorrow.'This is really a very bad practice. You might feel that you have time left but you are just piling up more work by procrastinating it.You procrastinate thinking that you have 6 more days, then again thinking that you have 5 more days and so on.Finally,on the eve of exam or two days before exam, you find yourself stressed up and scared about the exams. This could have been avoided if you were serious from the first day itself and not procrastinated it till the last.
One more disadvantage of procrastination is you don't know what is coming your way tomorrow.Considering the above example, you might have procrastinated thinking that you have 6 more days. What if something unexpected happens and you end up in a situation wherin you cant even touch your books for the next 5 days. So,you will have only one day left and all that you will do is break your head, don't eat properly, get tensed and many such negatives.Suppose, you had not procrastinated and studied to the best of your capability on the first day itself and missed 5 days because of unexpected situation, you can Atleast be a bit tension-free because you would have studied something already.Since you had studied to the best of your capability on the first day, though you can't touch books for the next 5 days, you can atleast recapitulate what you have studied and atleast become Perfect in that.
So,isn't it true that 'Procrastination feels good only for NOW.'You postponed your studying thinking you have time left to prepare for it and basically you had no interest to study at that time. When you closed your books and got up from the study table, you felt good because you have procrastinated studying and do something else that interests you.But ultimately you made more works to pile up as you procrastinated on the other days also. And this definitely leads to tension, irritation, frustration, sadness etc.Hence, procrastination feels good only for NOW but makes you feel very bad LATER.
I was about to procrastinate writing today's blogpost because I was feeling a bit sleepy. However I was not so tired that I can't even sit for few minutes. From my experience of procrastination,I felt it won't be good if I postpone it because I will definitely get a few more works and finally many things get piled up.Eventually,I will lose interest in doing by looking at the number of works pending.Hence,I thought I will have to complete this at any cost and then sleep. Here it is,I have completed my blogpost to the best of my ability. In contrast,if I had procrastinated today I would have procrastinated the next day also and moreover more works will keep coming my way and they will get piled up.This will make me lose interest because it automatically gets stored in the subconscious mind that 'You have a lot of work.'
I truly understood the benefit of not procrastinating.I can be happy that I completed a blogpost,i can be happy that I have finished the work already and I can be free of it.
Hence, stop procrastinating. It feels good only for NOW.
Thank you for reading.

You FEEL tired but you actually are not tired!

"Tired"-This is a word which everyone in this world experience almost daily. If you are a student you would be tired after coming back from school,if you are working in a company you would be tired after returning home from the company,if you are a teacher you would be tired after returning from school and so on.
Everyone knows this.I want to explain the title of my blogpost in detail."You FEEL tired but you are not tired."-This means that it so happens a lot of times that you end up feeling very tired but you actually are not tired. It is your mindset that is telling you are tired and making you feel that you are tired but your body is not actually tired. It is very important to relax or rest when your body is tired and not when your mind is tired.
After coming back from school or college, many students complain that they become tired. My dear friends, let me tell you that it is a FEELING of tiredness and not actual tiredness. You would have got addicted to that practice of taking rest as soon as you return home and hence you end up feeling tired whenever you return home from your school or college. There are two things or two examples that will help you understand the difference between 'Feeling Tired' and 'Being actually tired.'
First example:I will take the case of students in both the examples.A student tells he is tired after returning home from school or college. If just going to school or college and sitting there and listening in the classes, playing for a while and travelling back to home is making them tired, then what about those labourers, goods lifters etc.Think of it and you will definitely agree that students are not at all tired when compared to them. The only difference between both of them is that students' mind tells and creates a feeling of tiredness. But other workers, labourers etc who work by lifting weights and sweating out like anything, don't feel tired but their body is actually tired and they need some relaxation.
Second example is a continuation of first one: If suppose a student is tired after returning home from school/college,there is a clear way to differentiate whether it is 'actual tiredness' or just a 'feeling of tiredness.'When you ask a student after returning home to study or do some work and get a response that he/she is tired but they quickly get up and get ready if you are calling them for a movie or anything that they are interested in,it clearly indicates that it is a feeling of tiredness and not actual tiredness.
Feeling of tiredness made them reject or disagree to study or do some home-related work but since the body was not actually tired, they agreed for a movie.Hence, always listen to your body in such cases to know what is your condition and not your mind which will definitely make you end up wasting time as you spend time for resting when it is not required.
I happened to write this blogpost because I was saturated for the day and the only thing to be done for the day was completing and posting my blogpost.I thought of sleeping and doing this work tomorrow. Then,I examined what all I had done throughout the day and I realiZed that I had not done any such thing that has made my body tired. So,it definitely was the 'Mind' which was telling and making me FEEL tired.Hence,I washed my face and came back and then started compiling my blogpost. And here it is,I have completed the entire blogpost and seriously I am not at all feeling tired now because my body is not yet tired.
There is a lot of difference between 'Feeling tired' and 'Being actually tired.'Do relax/rest only when your body is tired and not when your mind is tired.
Hope that the blogpost was meaningful, helpful and understandable.
Would love to read your reviews.
Thank you for reading.

To wait or not to wait, depends on you!

"To wait or not to wait, depends on you."I understand that the title of my blogpost is a bit confusing.I will make sure that I will make you understand what I mean,by the end of the blogpost.
'Waiting'-You would have heard this word or experienced it a million times. For example, waiting when a friend of yours comes late,Waiting when you call a person and that person is busy, waiting in a queue when there are a lot of people to buy or get the same thing which you want, waiting for a flight to take off/land when there is a delay due to unusual weather conditions, waiting when you want the print of photographs that is there in a pendrive and so on.I am currently 'waiting' to get the printouts of few images that I have submitted to the studio in a pendrive.
Since there are a lot of people,I was informed to wait for 20 minutes. But a wonderful thought came to my mind-Though it will take 20 minutes for me to get the printouts, waiting for it or not depends on me.Waiting is the period in which you are doing nothing other than expecting an event to happen. In my case, the event refers to collection of printouts when it is done. But,Waiting is not mandatory and depends on us.Whenever there is need to wait, you can utilise that time effectively in doing something else and this will help you develop proficient time management skills. You also end up finishing two or more works at the end of a particular time, when you utilize the 'waiting period' for one work to happen in doing some other work.
In certain cases like getting printouts of something or photocopy of a complete book, you will definitely have to wait. But as I explained above, you can utilize the waiting period in doing some other work either by sitting near the place of present work or you can also go to some other place that demands your presence for completion of work. This is fine.
What if you are in a long queue and you are waiting for getting 'darshanam' of almighty in a temple or for billing your products in a Supermarket or any such case.In such cases you definitely have to be in the current place and wait and can't go anywhere else, because that would lead to a even longer queue and eventually making you wait for more time. But I believe that there is a Solution for everything in this world. Here the solution is simple. The solution is 'Smartphone.'The present trend among all kinds and all ages of people is 'Smartphones.'You can find a 3 year old baby meddling with a smartphone and at the same time a 90 year old person having a smartphone. So,the solution for proficient use of 'Waiting period' is use your smartphone to communicate with someone, learn from someone, learn something from Internet, read something, write articles, write blogs, update yourself with the latest technology and current affairs and so on.And am damn sure that any smartphone that costs from Rs.4000 to Rs.60000 will help you do all the above things.Infact many non-smartphones also helps you do productive things.Hence,to wait or not to wait is left to you.
I had given order for printouts of images and it would take 20 minutes for me to get it.I decided not to wait and hence I engaged myself in writing this blogpost.Trust me,I am feeling happy about myself for such a decision which helped in efficient utilization of time.
Thank you for reading.
