Today was one of the most memorable days in my life till
now.I always had a wish of helping the society,helping the people in
need.This was the day wherin i could change the wish to reality and am
really very happy for that.Today i did a great thing by providing food
to someone in need.I would like to thank 36meals.com team for providing
me an oppurtunity to accomplish such a wonderful event.It was so well
organised,all the volunteers gathered in ground and we were given the
instructions first.
It was simple but with few
restricted instructions.We were told that we have to take a fresh meal
either from home or hotel and give it to someone in very much need of
it,but the restricted instructions were we should not use our vehicle,we
have to catch the first bus that comes to the bus stand and travel for
15minutes in it and get down after that.Then we had to go in search of
needy people and provide them with the fresh food and also give them
hope that they themselves can earn and not only feed themselves but in a
matter of time,can feed others as well.We were divided into teams.And
all this should happen within 90minutes.
So once the time started,we left for this wonderful
task.My teammate and I decided majestic as the place,got into the
bus,reached our destination and went in search of needy people.We could
find them,we talked to them,provided with food and gave them a hope of
future.We also took a photograph with them while they were smiling.It
was such a great period of time filled with excitement,happiness and
many more.
Then once that task was completely done,we
set off for another task that was to stick posters of 36meals.com in
restaurants and eat-outs to create awareness among people about
preventing wastage of food.We went to so many different places and
visited so many restaurants and eat-outs and could convince around 20 of
them,which was a
gain a great feeling,atleast one learns from it then it
will be considered useful.So it was a very good experience throughout the day."I COMMITTED A CRIME TODAY,I KILLED HUNGER OF FEW NEEDY PEOPLE"
